Terry Quigley
President and Chief Executive Officer, Masonic Homes of California
Terry is an accomplished leader steeped in building high-trust relationships, innovative services, and growth at mission-driven human service organizations like ours. Since 2012 she has been the chief operating officer at Episcopal Communities and Services in Southern California, where she oversaw three CCRCs, one assisted living community and one affordable housing community, serving roughly 700 residents. There, she developed three master plans including the launch of a new 206-unit facility, delivered consistent financial performance, and drove excellent resident satisfaction and engagement in all life plan communities, among other accomplishments.
Prior to 2012, Terry led operations at Shea Family Care and the Cloisters of La Jolla Skilled Nursing Facility. As a part of a home and community-based services organization, Terry built significant and effective network of services for underserved populations.

Carol Hunter
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Masonic Homes of California
Carol Hunter is a finance professional leading accounting and operational teams for more than 25 years. As Chief Financial Officer of the Masonic Homes, Carol partners with the leaders of the various masonic entities to provide financial oversight and leadership. She started her career in public accounting in Toronto Canada and upon moving to California in 2003, transitioned to finance management roles in for-profit public and private companies. In 2015 she made the transition to mission-based work in the underserved Bayview District of San Francisco. Prior to joining the Masons of California, she was the CFO of Larkin Street Youth Services, a prominent California nonprofit focused on ending youth homelessness.

Ronald Villacis
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Masonic Homes of California
Ronald Villacis is a strategic and results-driven senior living executive with 16 years of healthcare and leadership experience. He has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving growth across the full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and hospice. Prior to joining the Masonic Homes of California, Ronald served as Vice President of Operations for Revel Communities at The Wolff Resident Experience Company, where he championed cross-functional teams in operations, sales, and marketing.
Ronald is deeply passionate about mentoring leaders and fostering a culture of excellence serving seniors. Throughout his career, he has successfully led major expansion strategies, including the development of new senior living communities and the implementation of innovative “Leadership in Training” programs. A Licensed Vocational Nurse by trade, Ronald blends a strong clinical background with executive expertise to elevate resident care standards and improve overall community performance. He is excited to continue delivering high-quality care for residents while developing the next generation of mission-driven leaders.

Vince Gonzaga
Executive Director, Masonic Homes of California — Covina
Vince Gonzaga has nearly 30 years of healthcare industry experience, of which he’s spent the past 13 years in senior-living leadership roles. He began his career as a physician in the Philippines, but after arriving in the United States in 2004, transitioned into the senior-living field, starting as an admissions and marketing director and later becoming an administrator. Since 2011, he has worked as a CCRC executive director.

Julie Mammad
Executive Director, Acacia Creek — Union City
Julie brings more than 20 years of experience in senior living, with leadership across multiple levels of care including sub-acute skilled nursing, skilled nursing rehabilitation, and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). Prior to joining Acacia Creek, she served as Executive Director at The Reutlinger Community, where she oversaw a 60-bed skilled nursing facility and 120 independent living, assisted living, and memory care units. In this role, Julie played a key part in driving resident satisfaction, increasing occupancy, and ensuring strong financial stewardship. She also successfully led the community through arbitration processes and collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
Earlier in her career, Julie held a variety of operational and financial roles, including payroll and benefits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, regional accounts receivable, and Nursing Home Administrator (NHA), providing her with a well-rounded perspective on community operations.
Julie resides in Union City and maintains strong, longstanding relationships within the local community, regularly participating in and contributing to networking and professional events.

Chris Gershtein, RN, MSN, CPHQ, CHC, NEA-BC
Vice President of Clinical Services, Masonic Homes of California
Chris Gershtein is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in a variety of health care areas, including hospitals, disease management, nursing research, and nursing education. Prior to joining the Masonic Homes of California, she was director of quality and research at the Washington Hospital Healthcare System. Gershtein has also held quality, leadership, and analytics roles at both Stanford Medical Center and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Her research interests and publications include the areas of chronic disease management, health care outcomes, quality of life, and computer and technology use by health care consumers for disease management and wellness.

Soledad Martinez has worked for the Masonic Homes for over 26 years, serving seniors and their families in various capacities. Sabrina Montes has been in the field of social work for the more than 20 years, where she has served a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, families, and seniors. She has a strong background in residential treatment programs, mental health, and community based services. Montes has served the Masonic Homes of California since 2003, where she assisted the in the Masonic Homes Children Program in Covina. In 2009, she joined Masonic Outreach Services, was promoted to the Masonic Homes’ Chief Strategic Officer in 2022, before moving into the role of Vice President of Community-Based Services in 2024.

Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Andrew Uehling is a seasoned human resources professional with more than 23 years of management experience. As vice president and Chief Human Resources Officer for the Masonic Homes of California, Uehling partners with leaders and managers in five California Masonic entities to drive and implement effective leadership and management strategies. Prior to the Masonic Homes of California, Uehling served for eight years as director of human resources for Charles Schwab & Co. For the past six years, he has served as the chairman of the Gay-Straight Alliance Network Board of Directors.
