When the Masonic Homes Board recognized the increasing demand for memory care, they identified a need to provide targeted care for residents with early-onset memory loss, and for developing new methodologies aimed at slowing dementia. Rather than adapting existing technologies to suit their purposes, the Masonic Homes – and the fraternity – became a leader in pioneering new approaches to memory care. Through interactive, healthy-aging based activities, Union City’s Compass Club is revolutionizing care for residents experiencing early memory loss.
