Residential Care – Assist residents to and from activities, appointments, or church; play games, take residents for walks, or visit with residents individually; prepare and serve refreshments or assist with parties/social events; or distribute magazines/books to residents.

Clerical Support – Volunteer doing computer work, filing, making copies, etc. in an office setting.

Transportation – Be a volunteer driver.

Outings – Accompany residents on various outings, such as sports games, shopping trips, restaurants, and movies. (An activities calendar will be mailed in the monthly volunteer newsletter)

Special Events – Help our staff during special events (such as holiday decorating, casino nights, Jam & Jelly, volunteer brunch, etc.), as well as during monthly programs.

Special Projects – Help in one of our on-campus resident services, such as the clothing shop, gift shop, ice cream parlor, or library.

Miscellaneous – Other areas to volunteer include teaching, technology, gardening, etc.

To ensure the security of our staff and residents, all staff members, contract providers, Volunteers, and Residents are required to display a vehicle security tag on the rear-view mirror or placed in a location, which is visible to the Security and Masonic Homes staff. The following information is required for any vehicle parked on Masonic Homes’ property.

I understand that I am required to display this security tag permit according to the Security/Safety guidelines. The security permit authorizes access to the Facility and parking privileges. Should I misplace or lose the security tag permit, I am required to contact the Facility Services Department immediately. A new Security Tag permit will be issued at a cost of $5.00 per tag. Failure to present this Security Tag permit at the gate will result in a security check, which will delay my entrance to the Facility. Flagrant violation of the security and parking restrictions may result in verbal or written disciplinary action.
