Masonic Outreach Services is here to support Masons throughout California who need relief. Public programs may help with unemployment and some financial assistance; Masonic Outreach Services is here to help fill the gaps.

Masons and their families can access a variety of resources to address their particular needs:
- Information and referral services
Masonic Family Outreach Services can recommend helpful services and resources right in your own community, including legal aid, employment support, programs for children with special needs, food stamps and other public assistance, and support for economic issues such as foreclosure.
- Care management
For Masons and their families who require additional support, Masonic Family Outreach Services care managers can provide ongoing care management for as long as needed. We work with you to develop a care plan that is flexible and specific to your situation, including home visits and hands-on help connecting to local resources.
- Financial assistance
Masonic Family Outreach Services can provide limited financial support for eligible Masons and their wife or widow. This support is offered to help fill financial gaps that may have occurred due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Eligibility for Emergency Funds
These emergency funds are available to all eligible Masons and their widows who find themselves in need as a result of Covid-19. This limited emergency financial assistance can be applied for when other options have been exhausted.
To qualify, you must:
- Demonstrate immediate financial need, and be willing to apply for all eligible public benefits and resources
- Be willing to seek support from your lodge (with the help of Masonic Outreach Services)
- Be willing to complete an application for emergency funds and provide the requested supporting documentation
- Be willing to develop a care management plan with your care manager and commit to the work required to restore self-sufficiency.
If you qualify for ongoing financial assistance through our Masonic Senior Outreach Services, you may receive funds through that program instead. We will help you navigate our programs as needed.
