Affordable housing solution in Covina!

These days, finding safe, affordable housing can be difficult in California.  For older adults on a minimal income, it can be even tougher.

That’s why Masonic Outreach Services has created the Shared Housing homes on the Covina campus, an affordable living option that allows fraternal family live in a friendly atmosphere.

Eligible Masons, their spouses, parents and parents-in-law, aged 62 plus who are able to live independently are eligible.  Located on the campus of the Masonic Home at Covina, these lovely renovated suites include:

  • Spacious one-bedroom and studio private units
  • $650/month for studio, $1,000/month for suite
  • Utilities included
  • Large shared living room with cable TV
  • Common kitchens with new appliances and cooking utensils
  • Furnished patio areas
  • Laundry and parking
  • Free WiFi

The Shared Housing Program’s homes include private units with their own private bathroom.  Shared spaces include kitchen, living areas and outdoor space, which encourages a more communal lifestyle and can fight feelings of isolation and depression.

Additionally, the safe, beautiful Covina campus offers opportunities to socialize with fellow Masonic family members and members of Destiny Lodge.

Single Masonic family members and married couples are encouraged to apply to this affordable community living program. 

Eligibility has income caps, and is available to Masons, their wives and widows, parents and parents-in-law, ages 62 plus.
